How do I get photos of my car from car meets?
Put a SpottID beacon on your car. When a SpottIR photographs it, the photo is sent to you first. You accept or reject each one, and nothing is public until you approve it.
How do I find out who photographed my car?
Photos of your beacon car come to you in the SpottID app with the SpottIR's name on them.
What is a SpottID beacon?
A small Bluetooth beacon you put on your car. The SpottID app on a nearby phone detects it and knows which car it is. It identifies cars, never people. Each bundle includes an annual plan, from $79/yr per car.
Is SpottID a car spotting app for iPhone and Android?
Yes. SpottID is on the App Store and Google Play in the US and Canada. Tap Scan to see beacon cars near you. Bluetooth must be on.
Can I keep my car hidden at home?
Yes. Set a Hidden Zone, such as your home, and your beacon car is not shown there.
Does SpottID have car clubs?
Yes. Create or join a car club, post club events with RSVPs, share event photos and chat with your club in the app.
Can I get an alert when a SpottID car is nearby?
Yes, if you turn on nearby car alerts. SpottID can tell you when a beacon car is close.
